TSI Appraisal Hosts Two Continuing Education Classes in Dallas, Texas

  • Monday, November 11, 2013 - Appraisal Best Practices will briefly review USPAP and how Fannie Mae Seller Guidelines parallel. We'll review Advisory Opinions, best practices in regards to professionalism, neighborhood analysis, comparable sales selection, prior sales analysis, reconciliation development, working with AMCs and clients, and the major issues that send appraisals back to the appraiser for revisions.
    Session: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (7 hours)
  • Tuesday, November 12, 2013 - Fraud, Reviews and Repurchase Demands is designed to expose the appraiser to real world cases of appraisal fraud, discuss what the actual responsibilities are and requirements of the appraisal reviewer and appraisers will be shown genuine examples of repurchase demands which will be discussed. In addition, mortgage lending, who the investors are, the top five reasons for repurchase demands, and many other relevant up-to-date information will be dispensed.

This professional training will be presented by Julie D. Friess, SRA and Appraisal Seminars. Friess is an AQB certified USPAP instructor, Appraisal Institute member, past President of the Coalition of Arizona Appraisers (CoAA), and Collateral Risk Network Group (CRN) Member.
